Move Better. Hit Harder. Stay in the Game.

You love pickleball. Your body? It forms its own opinions.
The quick pivots, overhead smashes, lunging digs — pickleball demands everything from your shoulders, hips, knees, and core. If you play several times a week, those demands add up fast.
That’s where yoga comes in.
Ellen Von Ohlen is the founder of Fox River Yoga, a certified yoga instructor, and a pickleball player who understands how athletes move — and where bodies break down.
Her Pickleball Player’s Yoga class is designed specifically for the sport you love, targeting the muscle groups you use most and the joints that take the most punishment.
What you’ll build:
- Rotational strength for more powerful groundstrokes and serve
- Hip and hamstring flexibility to protect your knees and lower back
- Shoulder mobility to prevent the overuse injuries that sideline players
- Core stability to fuel quick lateral movement and recovery
- Body awareness that makes you a smarter, more efficient athlete on the court
No prior yoga experience is needed. Just show up with your mat at Pickleball Kingdom in North Aurora.
Details: Join Ellen in person on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month for a one-hour class from 9 am to 10 am.
